Jose Lorenzo Sereno obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2012 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2013. He graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.
He is part of the firm’s arbitration and corporate practice group.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sereno was a senior law clerk for the Office of the Chief Justice of the Republic of the Philippines for five years, and handled a variety of cases that included the fields of corporate law, commercial law, international law, constitutional law, civil law, labor law, government procurement and organization, and worked with foreign governments, international organizations, and officials in various judicial training and reform projects.
He likewise teaches and has taught law and given lectures for a number of institutions, in the fields of public international law, private international law, constitutional law, moot court technique, and legal research and writing.
