The firm’s arbitration and litigation practitioners have extensive experience in civil, criminal, special, and appellate proceedings, and have represented clients from various industries before different courts and quasi-judicial bodies in the Philippines such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Commission on Audit (COA), the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), the Social Security System (SSS), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB), and the Office of the Ombudsman (Ombudsman).

FMH has also handled arbitrations administered by the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (CIAC), the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), as well as ad hoc arbitrations under the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

The firm’s arbitration practice is headed by Engr.-Atty. Jesusito G. Morallos, who is an accredited arbitrator of the CIAC, the IPOPHIL, and the PDRCI and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Atty. Morallos has served as the President of the Philippine Institute of Construction Arbitrators and Mediators (PICAM), the President and Chairman of the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators (PIArb), and the President of the Society of Construction Law Philippines, Inc. Atty. Morallos also sits as the Dispute Resolution Administrator of the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) and the Renewable Energy Market, and is a consultant to the Toll Regulatory Board.
