The Firm’s Atty. Rachel P. Follosco, Atty. Trina D. Singson and Atty. Ma. Luz Concepcion M. Baldueza joined other privacy practitioners all over the world in the 2017 Asia Privacy Forum held on 24-25 July 2017 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore.
The Forum is the only event that brings globally recognized IAPP programming to Asia. The two-day event featured educational sessions and keynote presentations that tackle the most relevant data privacy issues in Asia.
Atty. Baldueza also attended the pre-conference workshop entitled entitled “The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation is Here: Are You Ready?” which aimed to help organizations comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which was set to take effect on 25 May 2018.
FMH Law is a Corporate Member (Silver) of the IAPP, and one of the first, if not the only, Corporate Member of the IAPP in the Philippines.
