MARK ELLISON S. ALARILLA (email@example.com) received his Juris Doctor degree from San Beda College Alabang in 2019 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2020. He also graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2010 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination in October 2010.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Alarilla was with Du-Baladad and Associates (BDB Law). He has vast experience in tax litigation, regularly appearing before the Court of Tax Appeals and regular courts involving tax assessments and claims for refund. He handles administrative protests and claims for refund before the administrative bodies, such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue and various local government units. He also undertakes requests for tax rulings, applications for tax treaty relief, transfer pricing works, estate settlement and corporate services relating to assistance in setting up businesses, registration, availment of investment incentives, among others.
From 2010 to 2014, Mr. Alarilla worked with SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.) as part of the financial assurance services of the firm and was involved in the audit and review engagements of entities engaged in logistics and manufacturing, among others
